Method of drying textiles in a dryer (2), the drying sequence including the supply of at least one additive to the textiles, wherein at least one additive supply parameter is modified in dependency of a program selection and/or textile characteristic; characterized in that the additive is injected as steam, in particular the steam being water steam or mainly comprising water; and the at least one additive supply parameter is modified in dependency of the weight of the textiles.
