The fire-resistant locking device (10) has a closing element (12) for closing an opening. The closing element has sections (14.1,14.2). An intumescent material is arranged between a front surface (18.1) and a rear surface (20.1). The front surface and the rear surface are connected such that a volume increase of the intumescent material is guided to a shift of the front surface relative to the rear.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine feuerhemmende Verschlussvorrichtung, insbesondere feuerhemmendes Tor, mit mindestens einem Schließelement (12) zum Verschließen einer Öffnung, wobei das Schließelement (12) mindestens eine Sektion (14.1,14.2) aufweist, die eine starre Vorderfläche (18.1) und eine der Vorderfläche abgewandte Rückfläche (20.1) besitzt. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass zwischen der Vorderfläche (18.1) und der Rückfläche (20.1) intumeszierendes Material angeordnet ist, und die Vorderfläche (18.1) und die Rückfläche (20.1) so miteinander verbunden sind, dass eine Volumenzunahme des intumeszierenden Materials zu einer Verschiebung der Vorderfläche (18.1) relativ zur Rückfläche (20.1) führt.
