[origin: EP2224792A2] The electronic power supply unit has a middle tap (M) arranged between two switches (T1,T2), which are connected with the connections (HSGD,HSVCC,GND,LSGD,VCC) for a lamp. A circuit is formed as a transmission circuit (A-TZ) for achieving a given signal level at a measurement input (LSCS). A signal is produced for switching the switches during a voltage lies at the middle tap.
