Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009063428A2] The invention relates to a method for the automated control of a sun-shading device (INST) consisting of: reflecting slats (B1, B2, B3) having parallel longitudinal axes and including a surface (F) provided with teeth (D) having sides (Fl) which are intended to be exposed to light rays, known as the effective sides, and which are positioned in parallel planes (P1, P2, P3, P4); means (CPU, CLK, ASUN) for determining a main direction of incidence (ASUN1; ASUN2) of the light rays in relation to the slats; and a motor (MOT) which can be used to orient the slats at least substantially about the longitudinal axis thereof. The method includes a step comprising the automatic orientation of the slats such as to orient the planes of the effective sides as a function of the main direction of incidence of the light rays.
