The system has hinge parts (1, 2) coupled with one another by a hinge bolt in a tiltable manner, and connecting elements i.e. screw, to connect the hinge parts with respective separation elements (26, 27) i.e. glass plate. An adhesive surface (8) of an adhesive adapter (5) is connectable with the separation elements. An attachment body (10) of the adapter is connectable with the hinge parts by a coupling element (14) i.e. threaded bolt. The hinge parts are connectable with the respective separation elements alternatively by a bolt connection or by the adapter.

Es wird ein Scharniersystem für Trennwände, insbesondere Duschtrennwände, offenbart, enthaltend Scharniere mit Scharnierteilen (1, 2), welche mittels eines Scharnierbolzens (38) schwenkbar miteinander gekoppelt sind und ferner enthaltend als Schrauben ausgebildete Verbindungselemente (58), mittels welchen wenigstens ein Scharnierteil (1, 2) mit wenigstens einem Trennelement (26, 27) verbindbar ist. Es ist ein Klebeadapter (5) mit einer Klebefläche (8) vorgesehen, welche mit dem Trennelement (1, 2) mittels Klebemittel verbindbar ist, dass der Klebeadapter (5) einen Befestigungskörper (10) aufweist, welcher mittels eines Kopplungselements (14) mit dem zugeordneten Scharnierteil (1, 2) verbindbar ist. Das jeweilige Scharnierteil (1, 2) ist wahlweise mittels der Schraubverbindung oder mittels der Klebeverbindung in Kombination mit dem Klebeadapter (5) mit dem Trennelement (26, 27) verbindbar. Des Weiteren wird ein Verfahren zur Ausrüstung eines derartigen Scharniersystems beschrieben.
