Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2226132A1] The device (1) has an outer maintaining body (7) including detachment (22) forming a cavity (13) with an outer side face (14) of an inner maintaining body (6) for receiving an edge (B) of an opening (O) of a metal container (C). A maneuver and control unit controls coordinated displacement of a forming body (11) and the inner and outer maintaining bodies. The control unit ensures an axial relative movement of the forming body with respect to an assembly comprising the maintaining bodies and a radial relative movement of the inner maintaining body with respect to the outer maintaining body.
