Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2226287A1] The method involves setting an adjustable threshold of torque necessary for holding a gripper, during closing operation of the gripper in crane operation with minimized filling volume. The torque is higher than a torque, which is necessary for tight holding of a holding rope. A value of the former torque is adjusted to an actual stroke height and load torque, via a control. Activation of influencing of the former torque takes place in a data processing system (5) via a load comparator (5a), during lowering of load threshold, when the gripper is detached from bulk goods. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an arrangement for influencing the gripper filling volume in the lifting tool (2) a computer program for influencing the gripper filling volume in the lifting tool (3) a computer readable storage medium stored on a program for influencing the gripper filling volume in the lifting tool.
