The closet (1) has an application device (9) provided for application of a fluid sliding-or separation unit (11) from a middle reservoir (10) to wall sections (6, 7) and a wall surface (8) of utility surface of the closet, where the utility surface lies freely above a water line (5) that stands in a siphon (3) of the closet, during utilization of the closet. The application device comprises nozzles (16, 17), which are connected with the middle reservoir. The fluid sliding or separation unit is applied by actuation of a control device (18) e.g. contact sensor. The fluid sliding or separation unit is selected from a group that consists of tensides, rinsing units, soap, alcohol and water with the additives such as a methyl cellulose and carboxy methyl cellulose. An independent claim is also included for a method for operation of a water closet.
