Abstract (en)
The device (1) has a metal plate (2) attached to an object to be protected, and another metal plate (3) arranged on a side, which is turned towards the object to be protected. The latter metal plate is attached to the former metal plate only at an edge side of the former metal plate and detachably lies at the former metal plate, without an intermediate space. The metal plates are arranged parallel to each other, where the protection device comprises an inclination angle (delta) between 40 degree and 50 degree opposite to a vertical vehicle axis (4). The plates are made of armor steel.

Um eine Schutzeinrichtung (1), insbesondere für gepanzerte Fahrzeuge, zu erhalten, die einfach aufgebaut ist und einen ausreichenden Schutz gegen projektilbildende Minen und gegen ballistische Geschosse gewährleistet, schlägt die Erfindung vor, die Schutzeinrichtung (1) aus mindestens zwei parallel zueinander angeordneten Metallplatten (2, 3) aus einem hochfesten Material aufzubauen, welche nur im Randbereich miteinander kraftschlüssig verbunden sind und sonst ohne Zwischenraum lose aneinander anliegen, so dass beide Metallplatten (2, 3) bei Belastung durch Minen oder Beschuss weitgehend unabhängig voneinander verformbar sind. Außerdem ist die Schutzeinrichtung (1) vorzugsweise unter einem Neigungswinkel zwischen 40° und 50° gegenüber der vertikalen Fahrzeugachse geneigt angeordnet.
