[origin: WO2009080332A2] The present invention relates to a method for the production of paper, cardboard or the similar products, and to a related paper or cardboard product. For this purpose a mixture, or pulp, made of cellulose fibers, at least one retention agent, at least one mineral filler made of filler fibers, and a solvent, such as water, is produced and dried on a screen. A production line is created in this manner. According to the invention the cellulose fibers and the filler fibers are adjusted to each other with regard to at least one of the properties of a) length, b) diameter, and c) length ratio (length/diameter).
