[origin: EP2227986A2] The shell (1) has a back zone (2) with a bend in a transition region (6) along a curved bending axis (22), where the bending axis runs transverse to the shell. The bending axis includes an apex, which is oriented in such a manner that the bend of the shell forms a back recess (30) of the back zone around the bending axis. The bending axis includes a bend origin and a bend end (26), which are oriented such that the bend provides a positively curved seat zone around the bending axis. A secondary bend is provided around a secondary bending axis (36). An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a seat shell.
