[origin: EP2228428A1] A phosphorus-free automatic dishwashing detergent composition containing a polymer of acrylic acid, maleic acid and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid (AMPS); a carbonate; and a silicate. The composition contains carbonate and silicate in a weight ratio from 2.5:1 to 1:4, respectively; from 10 to 90 wt% total carbonate and silicate.
