A knitted fabric transporting device 4 includes a rotation shaft 44 rotatably supported by a topping device 2 near topping needles 25; a plurality of knitted fabric transport plates 41 arranged in a line in the rotation shaft 44; and a drive mechanism for rotating the rotation shaft 44. Each of the knitted fabric transport plates 41 of the device 4 is arranged between the adjacent topping needles 25 by rotating the rotation shaft 44, so that the knitted fabric 80 is sent out from the topping needles 25 to the magazine needles 31 with the edge of the plates 41.
