Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2229010A2] The method involves determining a spectral band as a function of a hearing ability and/or a spectral distribution of energy of an interference sound (12). An input signal of a hearing device (8) that represents a sound in a spectral band is filtered according to a transmission function for the sound on an interference sound path. A compensation sound (15) is generated using the input signal in inverted and filtered form. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an hearing apparatus comprising a processing device for providing a spectral band and/or for determining a spectral band (2) a method of adjusting a hearing apparatus (3) an apparatus for adjusting a hearing apparatus.
