[origin: WO2009073989A1] Disclosed is a suspension device comprising a vertical prop (1) that has a front surface (11) and two lateral surfaces (12), and a grid of engaging contours (13) and intermediate webs (14) that are alternately arranged along a vertical line, said grid being congruent within each lateral surface (12). A primary support (2) can be hooked to the vertical prop (1) by means of a docking part (21). A couple of spring-mounted fixing elements (23), each of which has a wedge-shaped contour (231) that is to be locked into the engaging contours (13), is provided in the docking part (21). The docking part (21) embraces the front surface (11) and the two lateral surfaces (12) of the vertical prop (1). The vertical prop (1) is a hollow profiled section, the engaging contours (13) are designed as breakthroughs, and the fixing elements (23) are disposed such that the same can be deflected about a vertical axis. The vertical prop (1) is a square hollow profiled section and has two opposite front surfaces (11) and two opposite lateral surfaces (12). There are two grids of engaging contours (13) and intermediate webs (14) that alternate along a vertical line, each of said two grids being congruent in each lateral surface (12) and being located close to the adjoining front surface (11).
