[origin: CA2710180A1] The invention relates to a product having a cellular honeycomb structure, made by assembling stacked bands (B) of the same width (20). Two adjacent bands are attached to one another by a plurality of first series (s1) and second series (s2) of staples. Each of the cells (A) of the product is broken into two opposing portions belonging to two adjacent bands, said two portions being connected to one another at the edges of the cell by a first series and a second series of staples (2) aligned along the width of the band. The staples in each of the series (s1, s2) can be aligned along the width of the band using a stapler (1) provided with an anvil holder which is offset laterally after the anvil of the stapler has been positioned under two adjacent bands. In the non-deployed product, each band is stapled alternately twice with a lower band and twice with an upper band.
