[origin: WO2009074426A1] The invention relates to an on-off valve for injectors, especially fuel injectors (1), comprising a closing element (31) which allows the pressure in a control chamber (9) for actuating an injection valve member (3) to be relieved. The closing element (31) is controlled by a magnetic actuator encompassing a magnet subassembly (51) and an armature (49). The closing element (31) is connected to a stop element in such a way that the stop element and the closing element (31) enclose a damping chamber (71) that is filled with liquid. The amount of liquid in the damping chamber (71) remains substantially constant when the closing element (31) is moved such that the closing element (31) and the stop element are jointly moved.
