Abstract (en)
The method involves drawing a weft thread (2) from a supply spool and blowing the weft thread via a nozzle (21) in an input side of a storage chamber (24). The weft thread is held by a thread brake (19) in an output side of the chamber. The brake is opened for inserting the weft thread. The thread is withdrawn from the chamber via another nozzle (22) in the output side. The withdrawn thread is stretched via a third nozzle (23) in a blowing direction or reversely blown into the chamber. The blowing direction is set opposite to the latter nozzle. An independent claim is also included for a storage device for storing a weft thread in a loom.

Es wird eine Speichervorrichtung (20) zum Speichern von Schussfäden in einer Webmaschine vorgestellt, wobei die Speichervorrichtung eine Speicherkammer (24) mit einer Eingangsseite und einer Ausgangsseite umfasst, sowie eingangsseitig der Speicherkammer eine erste Düse (21) zum Einblasen eines Schussfadens (2) und ausgangsseitig der Speicherkammer eine Fadenbremse (19) zum Festhalten des Schussfadens und eine zweite Düse (22) zur Entnahme des Schussfadens aus der Speicherkammer, und wobei die Speichervorrichtung (20) zusätzlich eine dritte Düse (23) mit bezüglich der zweiten Düse entgegen gesetzter Blasrichtung enthält, um den entnommenen Schussfaden bei einem Schussfehler in die Speicherkammer zurückzublasen.
