Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2230364A1] The flooring panel has a core (5) made of wood composite e.g. medium density fiber and high density fiber. A stone panel (1) is connected with the core and forms a decorative layer. A protective layer covers an upper side of the decorative layer, and includes a base coating (12a) of epoxide and a top coating (12b) of polyurethane. Edges are contoured at longitudinal and transverse sides. A glass fiber reinforced layer (11) is arranged between the stone panel and the core and applied on an adhesive layer (10). A thickness of the stone panel is approximately 1 mm.
