Abstract (en)

According to the invention, a pedestrian walkway (1) is provided, incorporating signaling lights (SL) consisting of LEDs (6) with a very low voltage power supply source (7) and a timer (8). The walkway includes: access areas (A-A) that incorporate pressure sensors (DP) activated by the weight of the pedestrians, and that turn on the power supply of the LEDs; a crossing section (P) including header sections (TC) and an intermediate section (TI). The access areas consist of parts (2) that are flexed by the weight of a pedestrian, the header sections consisting of header parts (3) levelled with the access part and which are adapted to allow the flexion of the access part; the intermediate section consist of intermediate parts (4) levelled with the header parts; a frame (5) is used to anchor the header and intermediate parts to the road; the LEDS are housed inside the side edge (30, 40) of the access and intermediate parts, and the sensors (DP) consist of an driver item (9), a magnet, mounted on the access parts, and a receiver (10), as well as a magnetic switch mounted on the header part, which is switch on by means of one of the access parts (2) which displaces the magnet to face the magnetic switch.
