[origin: WO2009081049A2] The invention relates to a building facade that substantially comprises, in the following order: an outer wall made of facade members; a rain barrier (4); profiled holding and bearing members (1) attached to flooring nosings (0) in a vertical position; a thermal insulation system including a first insulator (3) at the front of the flooring nosings (0) and a second inner insulator (5a) between the floorings; a vapour barrier (5c); and an inner cladding (5b); wherein the first insulator (3) is substantially continuous on the façade surface, and is essentially free from any air pocket, and two adjacent plies of said first insulator (3) are separated by a planar surface (1c) of said profiled members (1) protruding at the front of the flooring nosings (0).
