[origin: WO2009087025A1] The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a micropump, preferably for the dosed administration of insulin, wherein a plurality of layers are arranged on the front side (V) of a first support layer (1) having a front side (V) and a back side (R), and wherein microfluidic functional elements (12) are formed through the structuring of at least one of the layers. According to the invention, it is provided that the structuring of the at least one layer for the producing of all microfluidic functional elements (12) is accomplished through front side structuring. The invention further relates to a micropump.
