Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009092948A2] The invention relates to an advanced peristaltic pump that comprises at lease one hose (9) that can be elastically flattened and at least two sets (4, 5) of two pressing members (20, 20', 21, 21 ', 50) placed opposite each other, each of said sets (4, 5) being adapted for pressing down on said hose (9) at a point different from said pump. According to the invention, these two pressing members (20, 20', 21, 21 ', 50) of a same set are placed on either sides of the hose (9), at least one of the pressing members (21, 21 ') of this same set is mobile so that the distance between the pressing members (20, 20', 21, 21 ', 50) of this same set is adjustable so that said pressing members (20, 20', 21, 21 ', 50) can be placed in a rest position in which said hose (9) is not pressed by said pressing members (20, 20', 21, 21 ', 50), or so that said pressing members (20, 20', 21, 21 ', 50) can be placed in a hose (9) pressing position. Advantageously, the adjustment is made automatically when starting or interrupting the peristaltic pump or the pumping.
