[origin: WO2009089885A1] The invention relates to an exhaust gas installation (3) comprising an exhaust gas evaporator (5) mounted downstream of an internal combustion engine (2) of a motor vehicle. The exhaust gas evaporator (5) has a sandwich-type structure wherein exhaust gas planes (12) and coolant planes (13) are alternately directly adjacently arranged, providing a very compact while very efficient exhaust gas evaporator.
