[origin: EP2233217A2] The device (10) has a disk sieve (12), and a conveyor (18) for applying green waste (30) to the sieve, where the green waste runs from a disk sieve inlet (14) to a disk sieve end (16) for providing a fraction (34) of the green waste as a sieve fraction and another fraction (36) of the green waste as oversized-fraction at the end. An inclination of the disk sieve is adjustable for providing a third fraction (42) of the green waste as oversized-fraction at the inlet. A shaft (50) has a locking bar extending in an axial direction, and a disk (52) has a passage opening for passage of the shaft. An independent claim is also included for a method for separating material i.e. green waste, into material fractions.
