[origin: EP2233405A1] The method involves cutting off pre-cut films (10) of a shrinkable film (3) along a longitudinal direction (30) for forming two film webs (4, 5) along the longitudinal direction of the film. Other two adjacent film webs (6, 7) are brought together at adjacent sides in longitudinal direction such that the film webs form an overlap (9) with a defined width at the adjacent sides. The pre-cut films are wrapped around two articles (2). The pre-cut films on the wrapped articles are shrunk to form a shrink pack (1). An independent claim is also included for a shrink pack comprising two pre-cut films.
