Abstract (en)
The bracket or bimetal connection has a bimetal element (20) which is connected with a fastening bracket (21), where the bimetal element acts on a spring combination (24) over a pin (25). The bimetal element is firmly connected outside its bending area (203) with the bracket at the connection point of the bimetal element and bracket, so that by the connection of bimetal element and bracket no change is produced in cross section of the bimetal element in its bending area. A copper-interlayer is provided between the active and passive layers. An independent claim is also included for a method for connecting a bracket.

Bügel/Bimetallverbindung für einen Temperaturregler, mit einem Bimetallelement, das mit einem Befestigungsbügel verbunden ist, wobei das Bimetallelement über einen Stift auf eine Federkombination wirkt, die ein Schaltelement auslöst und der Bügel ein Betätigungselement trägt, das über einen Stift ebenfalls auf die Federkombination einwirkt, und wobei an der Verbindungsstelle von Bimetallelement und Bügel das Bimetallelement lediglich außerhalb seines Biegebereiches mit dem Bügel fest verbunden ist, so daß durch die Verbindung von Bimetallelement und Bügel keine Querschnittsveränderung des Bimetallelements in seinem Biegebereich vorliegt.
