Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009071787A2] The invention relates to a motorised device for changing the decubitus of a patient confined to bed, said patient (2) being enveloped between a top sheet (3) and a bottom sheet (4) of a bed. Said device (1) comprises a structure (5) carrying means (8) for turning the patient by rotation caused by driving means, the turning means (8) being in the form of at least two bars (13) for winding the longitudinal edges of the top sheets (3) and the bottom sheets (4), each bar being provided with means (14) for blocking the sheets (3, 4). The invention is characterised in that the blocking means (14) comprise at least one space (15) for inserting at least part of the edges of said sheets (3, 4) and means (17) for holding the edges by clipping them inside said space (15).
