[origin: WO2009095464A1] The invention relates to a placing tool (2) comprising a magazine (40) for collated fasteners (10) for fastening roofing sheets. The placing tool (2) has a drilling device (4) that can be swiveled from a rest position (30) to a working axis (8) and a placing device (6) that can be swiveled from a rest position (32) to the working axis (8). A handle (14) is used to provide an advance movement of the drilling and the placing device (4, 6). The placing tool (2) allows holes to be pre-drilled and then a fastener (10), which previously is displaced from the magazine (40) to the working axis (8), to be placed in the hole by means of the placing device (6). The placing tool (2) allows fasteners (10) to be placed on a roof having a hard material substructure that is thicker than the placing depth of the fastener.
