[origin: WO2009086890A1] The invention relates to a device for transporting building materials for a bed and/or pavement of a roadway, such as a track ballast installation crawler, comprises a vehicle frame (16) displaceable by a chain drivetrain (12) in a working direction of the device, wherein the working direction runs substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle frame (16); a first receiver container (3) in a rear area of the device in the working direction for receiving a building material; a first conveyor belt (4) for transporting the building material from the first receiver container (3) in the working direction; a second receiver container (5) for receiving the building material from the first conveyor belt (4); and a second conveyor belt (6) for transporting the building material from the second receiver container (5) in the working direction past the front end of the vehicle frame (16) in the working direction, wherein at least one front discharge end of the second conveyor belt (6) in the working direction can pivot transverse to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle frame (16). Such a device can be particularly advantageously used in difficult to reach construction sites.
