Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009081040A2] The invention relates to an apparatus for cleaning a submerged surface, that comprises a hollow body and members for driving the body on the submerged surface, a filtration chamber having a liquid inlet (9) and a liquid outlet (10), a hydraulic circuit for the liquid flow between the inlet (9) and the outlet (10) via a filtration device (11), and a handle for moving the body so that a user can carry the same for submerging it or removing it from the liquid, characterised in that the liquid outlet (10) is provided at a longitudinal end of the body and in that the manoeuvring handle is connected to the body at an opposite end so that, when the body is hanging from the handle, it spontaneously tilts under the action of gravity into a drainage position in which the liquid outlet (10) is located underneath the liquid inlet (9).
