Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009081059A2] The invention relates to a submerged-surface cleaning apparatus comprising a hollow body and members for driving said body over the submerged surface, a filtration chamber created in said hollow body and having a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet, a hydraulic circuit for the circulation of liquid between the inlet and outlet through a filtering device, characterized in that said filtering device comprises an opening in communication with the liquid inlet and a filtration and debris-collecting volume (55) delimited by filtering walls (56, 57, 58, 59) and which extends towards the liquid outlet, said volume (55) having a cross section that decreases in magnitude from the opening towards the liquid outlet so as to form a convergent filtration space of the type tangential to the liquid.
