Abstract (en)

[origin: GB2454894A] A security device 200 for use with a bottle 216, the device comprises a body to at least partially cover the sealing portion 214 of a bottle, the body having a first surface 201 for receiving adhesive and a second surface 205 adapted to engage at least one security tag 208. The security device can be formed by a two-part injection molding tool. The security device may comprise a planar surface for engaging a security tag and a plurality inwardly protruding portions having planar surfaces which are parallel to the surface the tag is attached to. The protruding portions obstruct access to a security tag mounted to the device. The security device provides a low cost highly visible means for attaching the tag to a bottle.
