[origin: WO2009092517A1] According to the invention, weapon slaving is simulated and a simulation interface (7) is to be integrated for this purpose between the operator work place (3) and the weapon station (2), said interface being bidirectionally connected to a scenario simulator (8) and a further simulator (9) and optionally can be added to the electronic circuit between the operator work place (3) and the weapon station (2). The weapon station (2) and the operator work place (3) can be part of a real weapon station (2) or can be part of a completely reconstructed independent training unit. Real or synthetic data of the surroundings and the like is, for example, stored in the form of IR/TV video images in the scenario simulator (8). Characteristic curves of the weapon and gun drive simulation are stored in the simulator (9), with which the positioning behavior of the weapon station (2), including the simulation of controller, engines, transmissions, and the load thereof, can be simulated. Parameters such as inertia, mass, maximum velocity, maximum flow, friction and imbalance of the weapon station (2) are hereby simulated. In order to be able to displace the virtual image from the scene modulator (8), the characteristic curves of the drives from the simulator (9) are incorporated and interlinked in the ESI (7), the movement is simulated and the simulated movement is displayed on the monitor (4).
