Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009080234A2] An object, for example a building, is divided into different sections (1, 2). Each section (1, 2) comprises a plurality of computers (13), each controlling an individual escape route display (5) or a group of escape route displays (3, 4). The computers (13) are controlled by monitoring sensors (6) of the object section (1, 2). The blueprint of the object section (1, 2) and a control algorithm for the safest escape route from the object section (1, 2) is stored in the computers (13). The invention further relates to an escape route display that can be used for a device of said kind.
