Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2236199A2] The method involves turning a mixing container (24) from a robot gripper on a scale mixer (17) in a mixing chamber (10), and measuring and storing weight of the mixing container in a computer (6). Contents of a mixing vessel are received by a robot nozzle (16) by retracting a suction piston. The contents of the mixing vessel are delivered into an infusion bottle (20) suspended at a carousel by moving the suction piston. Reactant bottles (3) and the mixing vessel are held by the robot gripper and cleaned by holes in the mixing chamber. An independent claim is also included for a device for automatic dosing and mixing of active substances for preparing patient-oriented infusions.
