[origin: EP2236213A2] The device (10) has housing sections (20, 50) together forming an actuating device to perform a manual discharge actuation function. A media reservoir (60) stores liquid medium i.e. pharmaceutical medium. A conveying device includes a discharge opening (22b) and a dosage chamber (62). A volume of the chamber is reduced by a partial stroke of the discharge actuation, such that the medium is pressed out of the chamber to the opening. The reservoir is operatively coupled with the actuating device, such that the discharge actuation of the actuating device causes volume reduction of the reservoir.
