Abstract (en)
A method for mounting a cremone handle (1) on a door or window comprises at least the following steps: pre-fitting a contact element (7) on the base (5a) of a handle body (5) in such a way as to connect the element (7) using a fastener (6) to a single point on the base (5a) and at a distance (D) greater than a thickness (S) of the door/window frame member; inserting firstly the end (7a) or unconstrained zone of the contact element (7) through a slot (2) and into a tubular chamber (4a) in a sash (4); inserting secondly the end (7b) or constrained zone of the contact element (7) through the slot (2) and into the tubular chamber (4a); connecting a second fastener (6) to the unconstrained zone (7a) of the contact element (7) in such a way as to move a part of the zone (7a) into contact with the inside surface (4b).
