Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2236726A1] The device (100) has a mechanical deployment unit (120) for deploying an insulating mattress (110) from a lowered configuration towards a deployed configuration. The mattress includes an internal partitioning unit arranged between external walls to arrange the walls opposite to circulation direction of an air cushion. The mechanical deployment unit operates at ambient pressure of the air cushion and is distinct from and independent of the partitioning unit. The mattress is flattened for permitting its rolling when the mattress is in the lowered configuration. The external walls are spaced partially from one another along a direction perpendicular to a rolling plane for confining an air cushion between the walls when the mattress is in the deployed configuration.
