[origin: EP2236734A1] The unit (10) has a carriage (20) for moving a mast of a boring or construction device along a moving axis (12). External and interior tubing drives (30, 40) are provided for driving two tubular drill pipes around two longitudinal axes, respectively. Two drives are arranged on the carriage around a transverse axis (16) that runs perpendicular to the moving axis. The longitudinal axes run coaxially to each other to form a common drilling axle (14). An adjusting device adjusts one of the longitudinal axes of the two drives and changes the moving axis of the carriage.
