[origin: WO2009087600A2] Rotary-platform wrapping machine of the type consisting of a base body (1) whereon there are mounted a rotary platform (2), rotating about a respective vertical axis X-X, a drive motor assembly (3) and a column (4) which carries a system for the vertical guiding and shifting of a reel-carrying carriage (5), characterised in that said column (4) rests on an appendix (Ib) of said base body (1), said appendix (Ib) having its axis at an angle with respect to axis A-A which runs across the centre of rotation of platform (2) and through the centre of the drive motor.
