[origin: WO2009095076A1] Removable lamp housing units are used in video projection devices for receiving a lamp. A lamp must be connected in the lamp housing unit. According to the invention, metal strips (26, 26'; 38, 38'; 44, 44') are used in the lamp housing unit as power supply lines. The metal strips are rigid and extend into the interior (14) of the lamp housing (12, 12'), whereby connecting the lamp (16) is made easier. The strength of the metal strips can be further increased by profiling by means of stamping.
