Abstract (en)
The table has a locking mechanism for locking a table top (5) in a work or use position and storage position. A disengagement unit (15) is located under the table top, and comprises a hand-actuatable disengagement portion (15a). A foot-actuatable disengagement portion (15b) or a shoe actuatable disengagement portion is provided on underside of the table on a table half that is lower than a pivot axis of the table and/or is lower than the hand-actuatable disengagement portion when the table top is pivoted in the storage position.

Ein verbesserter Klapptisch zeichnet sich durch folgende Merkmale aus: - es ist eine Verriegelungseinrichtung vorgesehen, mittels der die Tischplatte (5) in ihre Arbeits- oder Gebrauchsstellung sowie in ihre Verstauposition verriegelbar ist, - die Verriegelungseinrichtung ist mittels einer Auslöseeinrichtung (15) entriegelbar, - neben der manuell betätigbaren Auslöseeinrichtung (15a) ist eine weitere mit einem Fuß bzw. Schuh betätigbare Auslöseeinrichtung (15b) vorgesehen, und - die zumindest eine weitere mit dem Fuß bzw. Schuh betätigbare Auslöseeinrichtung (15b) ist auf der tischunterseitigen Tischhälfte vorgesehen, die bei in Verstauposition verschwenkter Tischplatte (5) tiefer liegt, als die Verschwenkachse der Tischplatte (5) und/oder tiefer liegt als die manuell betätigbare Auslöseeinrichtung (15a).
