The system has a laminar element (4) i.e. commercial panel, comprising a wall-sided surface that is attached to a wall (1) i.e. room wall. A room-sided surface of the laminar element is attached to a room. Two mounting rails (3) are arranged at upper and lower edges of the laminar element. The mounting rails are fixed to the wall and hold the laminar element. The mounting rails comprise a groove (9) for retaining the upper and lower edges of the laminar element to be fixed, where the grove is aligned parallel to the wall and includes two parallel aligned groove flanks (8).

Die Erfindung betrifft ein System für die Herstellung einer an einer Wand (1), insbesondere Raumwand, montierbaren Multifunktionswand bestehend einerseits aus zumindest einem flächigen Element (4), wie einem Paneel oder dergleichen, das eine der Wand (1) zugeordnete wandseitige Oberfläche und eine dem Raum zugeordnete raumseitige Oberfläche aufweist, und andererseits aus zumindest zwei an gegenüberliegenden Kanten des flächigen Elementes (4), vorzugsweise an der oberen und an der unteren Kante des flächigen Elementes (4), angeordneten Montageschienen (3), die einerseits an der Wand (1) befestigt sind und andererseits ein flächiges Element (4) halten, wobei jede Montageschiene (3) zumindest eine im Wesentlichen parallel zur Wand (1) ausgerichtete, vorzugsweise zwei parallel ausgerichtete Nutflanken (8) aufweisende, Nut zur Aufnahme der gesamten betreffenden Kante des zu befestigenden flächigen Elementes (4) aufweist. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Verfahren zur Herstellung und Montage einer Multifunktionswand.
