[origin: EP2239059A2] The centrifugal drum has a set of drum parts rotating during operation of the centrifugal drum, where the drum parts form a common axis of rotation (D) in an assembled condition. Some of the drum parts are formed such that the drum parts cause unbalance relative to the common axis of rotation and individual unbalances are compensated. The unbalanced drum parts are provided with recesses or weights for causing the unbalance, where the recesses are formed as blind holes or notches, and the weights are formed as screws. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a rotatable centrifugal drum.
