Abstract (en)
The device (1) has a kick starter (19) arranged for starting a combustion engine by a driving ring (33), and an electric motor arranged for driving the starter in rotation. An electromagnetic contactor (17) has a mobile assembly arranged for displacing the starter along a longitudinal axis. A unidirectional retarding device retards displacement along the longitudinal axis of the mobile assembly. The starter is in a tip-to-tip position against a driving column of the combustion engine.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de démarrage pour moteur à combustion, notamment de véhicule automobile, comportant : - un lanceur agencé pour démarrer le moteur à combustion par l'intermédiaire d'une couronne, - un moteur électrique agencé pour entraîner en rotation le lanceur, et - un contacteur (17) présentant un axe longitudinal (X) et comportant un ensemble mobile (61) agencé pour déplacer le lanceur (19) suivant l'axe longitudinal (X), cet ensemble mobile (60) comprenant un élément de rappel élastique (64), notamment un ressort dit de dent contre dent, agencé pour permettre à cet ensemble mobile (60) de provoquer l'alimentation électrique du moteur électrique et pour engager le lanceur (19) dans la couronne (33) du moteur à combustion, et - des moyens ralentisseurs unidirectionnels (90) prévus pour ralentir le déplacement suivant l'axe longitudinal (X) de l'ensemble mobile (60), notamment tant que le lanceur (19) est sensiblement en position dent contre dent contre la couronne d'entraînement (33) du moteur à combustion.
