[origin: EP2239468A1] The accumulator (1) has a cylinder tube (2) in which a piston (4) is guided. The piston separates a gas chamber (8) from a pressurized medium chamber (6). The cylinder tube is connected with end caps (10, 12) by a connecting element (40) and made of plastic. End sections (50) of the cylinder tube extend over the connecting element that is designed as a supporting ring. A recess is formed for receiving a ring, and complementary recesses (56, 66) are formed at the end caps and a clamping ring (58), respectively. The clamping ring is made of plastic.
