Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2239532A2] The shotgun has upper and lower barrels (5, 6) lying one above the other, and arranged in a barrel assembly (2), which is articulatedly connected with a closure assembly (1). Mobile locking elements (3) lock the barrel assembly with the closure assembly. A pivot point between the barrel assembly and the closure assembly is formed by a bearing i.e. roller bearing (8), which is arranged at a lower side of the barrel assembly. The bearing is maximally half broad in its width than outer diameter of the barrels. Retainers (4) are arranged under the lower barrel.
