Abstract (en)

[origin: DE102009016656A1] The method involves supporting a hearing aid by a hearing aid carrier. A point of time and hearing situation are stored in an external unit i.e. remote control, to activate a predetermined algorithm for signal processing in the hearing aid that is shifted into a learning mode. The stored point of time and hearing situation are output to the external unit, and an evaluation measure (BM) is input in the external unit to convey stratification of the hearing aid carrier with the activated algorithm. Parameters of the algorithm are modified in reference to the evaluation measure. An independent claim is also included for a hearing mechanism for setting-up a hearing aid, comprising an external unit.
