[origin: WO2009029845A1] A microfluidic device includes a fluid inlet having a semi-circular groove and a flow chamber including an inner wall having an inlet end. The fluid inlet is in communication with the flow chamber. The inner wall at the inlet end is curved and has a radius similar to the radius of the semi-circular groove. A method of analysis includes introducing an analyte fluid to the surface of a sample chip through the microfluidic device.
